
I'm a consulting-educator with expertise in strategic foresight. I have over 55 years of experience spanning four separate careers: military (USMC enlisted and officer), engineering, consulting, and education. I offer hybrid strategy coaching offerings for middle managers and emerging leaders.
I founded MindPrep Resource Center to help mid-level leaders develop and improve their strategic foresight and develop pragmatic plans. I do this through webinars, workshops, coaching and writing (multiple books plus regular newsletters).
My work focuses on the four basic responsibilities of any leader. Namely, they need to:
• Sense changes in their larger environment.
• Make sense of these changes.
• Decide on a course of action.
• Act and learn.
These responsibilities form the phases of a cycle that has to be run fast enough to keep the leader and the company relevant in a changing environment.
