Ken Grace, Writing Coach

I am a writer, editor, writing coach, author and language commentator. My experience includes medical publishing, trade magazines, advertising and business writing. In 2000 I created Department of Writing, a specialist agency for clients who need top quality writing that is not always available through more generalist agencies such as advertising consultancies and PR firms.

In 2011, I created Writing for Results, a course for business people who need to write as part of their role, but who are not specialist writers. Writing for Results leaves people with more freedom and confidence in what they’re doing, while reducing costs and lost time within organisations.
Participants commonly report getting their writing done in half the time, finding writing more enjoyable and receiving positive feedback from others.

Writing for Results is an experiential workshop. It minimises tips and techniques, and instead immerses participants in a series of enjoyable exercises where any mystery about how to write effectively simply disappears. People become better at this important task and their organisations operate more effectively.

My inspiring life lessons: Achieving your personal goals is great. Helping others achieve theirs is even more fulfilling.
