The time for performative leadership is over. We need leaders who are not satisfied with just checking the boxes on their checklists and calling it a day. We must remember that true leadership and power lies in our ability to enact authentic change. And this framework requires us to understand our authentic selves. Then, we can begin to locate the root of the concepts themselves which we seek to implement for others and our institutions, respectively.
In this workshop, we go into some examples of performative leadership and transformative leadership with activities in the HR, ESG, DEI, and Purpose spaces.
