Life can be a balancing act. Many of us juggle family responsibilities, managing finances along with maintaining our health needs which can become overwhelming. The need for individuals to practice healthy coping skills is imperative for daily survival. The desire for happiness can become an infinite journey which can lead one to become burnout and frustrated.
Happiness can be defined in various ways. The attendees of this workshop will be introduced to positive psychology, seven concepts that promote happiness and the benefits and barriers of mindful meditation. After being introduced to the foundation of mindful meditation, the participants will practice a mindful breathing experience.
