Women's Leadership

About this Session

The definition of leadership has primarily been dictated by white western, property owning men. Therefore, the qualities desired and lauded in leaders were typically masculine ones, such as strength, resolve, and competition And yet, we have a world where women's rights are sliding backward, authoritarianism is on the rise, protests are flaring in Iran, there is a war in Ukraine, and people are quitting their jobs in droves.
In an era of unprecedented crisis, the skills women are raised to have- emotional expression, empathy, inclusiveness- couldn't be more valuable.

We need women who lead authentically as themselves.
This talk dives into what does it mean to lead as a woman? As an ethical leader? As a feminist? Why is it important to lead as your true self and not as what you think leadership should be? What steps can you take to identify your own unique leadership style and lean into it? What do women do well?

This can be done as a talk or an interactive workshop that helps women develop their own "intrinsic power maps."

We can do anywhere from a 1 hour talk to a full day workshop (more expensive).
